roll ups , meat, cheeses, fruits, sandwiches
Pancakes. Very easy to make and versatile. You could you sweet or savoury fillings depending on how capable your participants are. They are also cheap to make as well for the less adventurous cook. If going for sweet pancakes strawberrys with whipped cream and melted chocolate works well. Cottage Pie or cheese and potato pie is also easy and quick to make.
Eh? Recipes? Cook? Organise? Do nothing at all. You won't have the problem again!
pray
ooh, that sounds good. How about something complicated like scrambled eggs on toast.
First of all, I think ';they'; are not very kind to give you this to do ....second I would make a
chef salad and some wheat crackers, white wine spritzers and a chocolate cake which you can pick up on the way to work
But since it is still chilly .....I'd make steak au poivre, a corn casserole of yellow corn meal and some creamed corn added, and a little green salad .... and red wine spritzer .... Spanish flan for dessert...
You need to do this tomorrow? Tomorrow? Why so much advance notice?
Cheers!
p.s. Crackers and cheese and grapes and some lovely hot spiced apple cider? Sliced sausage like cervalat and a white peasant bread ...
Oreo Truffles, these things are awesome! Everyone loves them.
1 pkg. (1 lb., 2 oz.) OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted
CRUSH 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; reserve for later use. (Cookies can also be finely crushed in a resealable plastic bag using a rolling pin.) Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
DIP balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover chocolate can be stored at room temperature for another use.) Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.
REFRIGERATE until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.
