Here is one I just found:
Apricot Chicken
1 - BOttle French dressing
1 - Bottle Apricot Jam
1 - Envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix
Enough chicken for the family - Skinned.
Rice
Take the jar of Jam and mix it with the French Dressing and add in the onion soup mix. Put the chicken in a pan and put the onion soup mix over the chicken and bake it at 350 degrees until the chicken is done...about 45 minutes if doing 4 chicken breasts.
Note, you can use any chicken on this so, if you have thighs use thighs..if you have wings then use them.
Serve with the Rice and add some veggies to round out the meal.
Have your Mom help you at first to make sure things like the chicken is done and properly prepared.
Real easy breakfast
French toast
In a mixing bowl crack 1 egg , a small amount of milk and a teaspoon of cinnamon mix well and dip the bread in on both sides drop into a skillet or frying pan lightly brown on both sides . for a side you could have bacon ( its easiest to bake that in other for 20-30 minutes until its golden brown ) . don't forget the syrup
For lunch you could make some grilled cheese sandwiches real simple all u need is bread , sandwich cheese and some butter real easy just put the cheese in the middle of the bread put a Little butter on the outsides and throw it in a skillet or frying pan lightly brown on both sides for fun you can some lunch meat or some sliced ham or turkey ham just to make it a Little more filling .
real easy dinner
baked chicken breast with mac and cheese
get a bag of boneless skinless chicken breast or a package wash then off and pop them in the over on a foiled baking pan for 30- 45 Minutes @ 250 degrees cooking time varies with the over and how it heats up
For the mac and cheese just boil the noodles to your prefered softness and add the cheese , you could also have some vegetables out of the can just throw them into a small sauce pan with a little butter and some water they usually only need a few minutes or so to cook stir them while cooking so they don't stick
Your mother should have been teaching you for years already.
You only need recipes for baking;-{ cooking is less precise.
First pick your meat, %26amp; decide on the method of cooking:
grilling, baking, frying, stewing, for example.
Use a meat thermometer, to judge when safely cooked.
Combine with a starch selection: Potato, Pasta, Rice, etc.
Each just involves boiling with water until done;-}
Rice is trickier because quantities must match exactly.
Instructions are on the packet. Water is double the rice.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat %26amp; place lid on pot until done.
Lastly, you need one or two vegetables, go for the colour.
Veggies can be raw, boiled, steamed, baked, etc.
Don't be afraid to experiment; ask Mum for directions.

Baked Macaroni %26amp; Cheese:
/2 pound elbow macaroni
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon powdered mustard
3 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 large egg
12 ounces sharp cheddar, shredded (or any cheese you like)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Fresh black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente. While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pot, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and mustard and keep it moving for about five minutes. Make sure it's free of lumps. Stir in the milk and paprika. Simmer for ten minutes
Temper in the egg. Stir in 3/4 of the cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Fold the macaroni into the mix and pour into a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and rest for five minutes before serving.
**to make things a little easier you could just use some Velvetta cheese, melt in some warm milk, whisk in one egg, pour over cooked mac %26amp; cheese..salt...pepper... and bake!**
