I'm starting my own business and I don't have a lot of money for food. Also, I don't have a lot of time nor do I know how to cook. Can anyone help? Please do not menion Ramen Noodles.I'm on a budget. What are some easy-to-cook and cheap recipes?
Potato recipes are relatively easy to do.Here are some of mine.

Ranch fries

2-3 medium potatoes cut into wedges or fries.Fry them in fryer until done. Then pour on ranch dressing, cheese, and bacon bits.

Put oven on 350 and put in fries.Fries are done when cheese melts.

I also take 2-3 medium potatoes and cut them up and boil them.

After rinsing out potatoes, pour into casserole dish. Then pour ranch dressing, cheese and bacon bits (if wanted).Put oven on 350 and potatoes are done when cheese melts.

Pasta recipes are easy and inexpensive

Fresh tomato sauce

1 1/2 lbs. ripe Italian plum tomatoes(I've used regular tomatoes and it works just fine.)

4 tablespoons olive oil

1 onion,finely chopped

1 small handful of fresh basil leaves(I didn't use them and the recipe worked out fine.)

salt %26amp; pepper

12 oz. spaghetti or other past of your choosing

Cut an x onto the bottom of each tomato.Bring a pot of water to a boil.Place a few tomatoes in the pot for about 30 seconds.Peel off tomato skins and coarsley chop.Heat oil in large saucepan and add chopped onion, stirring over low heat for about 5 minutes.

Remove sauce from heat and stir in basil.Taste for seasoning.

Remove pasta from heat and drain.Pour sauce over pasta and toss.

P.S.I've added garlic and it tastes great.I hope these help. Also, see if your local college has weekend cooking classes and sign up for some of them. They are fun,you get to meet new people and have a blast at cooking.I'm on a budget. What are some easy-to-cook and cheap recipes?
Find yourself a';fresh2 road kill. Badger is best. marinate in onions and beer. Roast for 2 hrs. Remember though. Take out the bones!
How about a can of cream soup, any kind, add a couple handfuls of rice. One favorite, brown a pound of hamburger add a can of pork and beans. Put ketchup on it and eat with bread.

Pasta is wonderful for meals. Macaroni and tomato soup. Any pasta with spaghetti sauce.

Tuna salad. Just tuna in a can (in water), add some mayo, little mustard and a little relish. Voila!
Try this simple one:

1 cut up whole chicken

1 bottle of Russion salad dressing

1 envelope of onion soup mix

1 can of whole cranberry sauce

Wash chicken and put in oblong glass baking dish. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake 1 hour at 350.

Serve over rice or noodles.
Basmati rice, Potatoes, noodles....get the large bags. These are easy to boil, and keep in the fridge, in a covered bowl.

To go with this, you can have cream of mushroom soup, or stir-fry vegetable, or some spaghetti sauce. You can buy ready cooked turkey breast pieces too. Some ethnic restaurant have nice cheap sampler platters.

You save money by learning to cook a couple of basic recipes.

The wonders of a can of soup are amazing! For example........a box of Mac and Cheese (blue box!!!...made according to the intructions), a can of tuna, and a can of cream of mushroom soup, sprinkle with some crushed chips and you got yourself a meal. You can even change things around. Like chicken or even cooked ground beef. Or.....a can of SPAM! I'm serious! I love SPAM! LoL!
macaroni and hamburger
Big bag of dried beans and a big bag of rice. Cheap eats but don't put your head under the covers when sleeping.
