Whats your favourite easy meal to cook?recipes too please?

Simple, fairly quick, and tastes great.





EGG %26amp; CHILI CASSEROLE





10 eggs


1/2 C butter


1/2 cup flour


2 four oz. cans chopped, mild green chilis (Ortegas)


1 tsp salt


1 pint cottage cheese (small or large curd)


1 1/2 lb mont. jack cheese (shredded)





Grease 9x13 pan lightly.





Whip eggs until blended.





Add remaining ingredients.





Stir together.





Pour into pan.

CHICKEN AND VEGETABLE STIRFRY





Ingredients:


Stirfry vegies such as carrot, zucchini, baby corn, capsicum, onion, bok choy, snow peas, broccoli - sliced





Chicken breast - sliced





Kecap Manis (sweet soy sauce)





Sweet Chilli sauce





Sesame Oil





Garlic and ginger (optional)





Method:


- Slice chicken breast and place in a bowl with some garlic and ginger - marinade for about an hour or so (this is optional, I just find it gives the meal a bit of extra zing!)





- Slice up vegies.





- Add some sesame oil to your wok. When it is hot, add your chicken. When it's cooked, remove from wok.





- more oil, then add harder vegies (onion, carrot) and stirfry about 2 mins. Add other vegies and stirfry about another 2 mins, or until they feel tender enough for you...I like my vegies crunchy.





- Add chicken back in with the vegies and mix through. Now add Kecap Manis...enough to cover all the vegies and meat.





- Depending on how spicy you like your food, add some sweet chilli sauce...I like about 2 good shakes of the bottle.





- Serve on wither a bed of noodles or jasmine rice, depending on taste.

Chicken and stuffing casserole





4 boneless chicken breasts


1 package cornbread stuffing


1 can cream of chicken soup





Prep time: less than 10 min. Cook Time: 45 min


Get cornbread stuffing mix and make according to directions and put it in an oven proof dish.


Then cut boneless chicken breast in half length wise and put on top of stuffing pour cream of chicken soup over chicken and stuffing. Cover and Cook in a 350 degree oven for about 45 min
layer pork chops in the bottom of a casserole pan


pour spaghetti sauce over the top


bake until just about done


sprinkle shredded cheese over top


finish baking


boil pasta


when serving spoon sauce from casserole dish onto pasta
1 large can white mean chicken


1 jar salsa


1 pkg taco seasoning


1 can refried beans


shredded cheddar or mexican blend cheese


spread beans in bottom of baking dish. crumble chicken until fine. Combine chicken, salsa and taco seasoning in bowl mix well until thick. Pour over beans and bake 30 minutes. Top with cheese and bake until melted. Serve with hot tortillas or Tortilla chips. I serve with a salad of shredded lettuce, tomato, olives and cheese on the side.

LONDON BROIL


Servings: 8 (5 1/2 oz. each)





4 lbs (2 large) flank steaks


FOR THE MARINADE (makes about 5 1/2 cups):


16 oz (2 cups) salad oil


8 oz (1 cup) soy sauce


8 oz (1 cup) Worcestershire sauce


1 cup brown sugar


1/2 cup sesame seeds


1 tsp garlic powder


1 tsp. ground ginger


1/4 tsp dry mustard





MARINADE INSTRUCTIONS:


Combine all ingredients for marinade; blend together well. Place flank steak into marinade. Use small enough container to allow flank steak to be completely covered by marinade. Marinade 24 hours minimum and not more than 4 days or flavor of the meat will be overpowered by marinade





COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:


Preheat grill to 360 degrees F for 1/2 hour.





Drain marinade from meat. Reserve marinade up to two weeks if needed.





Grill flank steak to medium rare. This will take approximately 10 minutes cooking time total. Hold cooked flank steak in warmer if necessary.





Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.





Slice cooked flank steak at 30 degree angle 1/8-inch thick slices: This is essential to keep flank steak tender.

1 egg, beaten


seasoned bread crumbs


olive or vegetable oil


jar of spaghetti sauce


mozzerella cheese, shredded





Heat oven to 350. Coat the bottom of a frying pan with about 1'; of oil, heat. Dip the chicken in the egg, then coat both sides with bread crumbs. Heat in oil until both sides are browned (you are not cooking through at this point). In the meantime, coat a layer of the sauce on the bottom of a baking dish, then put chicken in it, top with more sauce and cheese. Bake for about 30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through. YUM
hamburg gravy and mashed potatoes.





Brown 1 pound of ground beef season with salt pepper and red wine,


then get a package of brown gravy mix from the store and follow the directions, do the same with the mashed potatoes


drain the grease from the meat then pour the gravy over it.


then put the mashed potatoes on the plate and ladle the meat/gravy mixer over it .. eat up yum
This is a favorite for my whole family. it makes a big pot and it only takes 20 minutes. of course the longer it cooks the more evolved the flavors get but it's darn tasty after just 20. This one is straight from my cook book I'm writting, enjoy.





Chili








2 lbs of ground beef


2 medium cans of basil flavored diced tomatoes


2 medium cans of crushed tomatoes


1 large can of tomato sauce


2 cans of chili flavored beans


2 cans of light kidney beans


2 cloves of crushed garlic


1 red onion diced


1 bell pepper


1 tbls of chili powder


1 tsp of adobo


1 tsp of garlic powder


1 tsp of onion powder


1 tsp of lemon pepper


陆 tsp of sweet paprika


1 bag of favorite shredded cheese


Sour cream








In a large saucepan or soup pan brown ground beef, onion, minced garlic and bell pepper on high until almost cooked all the way through. Drain beef thoroughly. Put the beef back into the pan and add the seasonings, finish browning. Once meat has browned turn heat down to low and add canned goods. Cook on low heat until beans are soft. Sprinkle on the shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream to each bowl serve with crackers.








Note: The longer you cook the chili the more the flavors develop. The chili will be ready to eat after 20 to 30 minutes of cooking however it will have more flavor after a couple of hours. You may choose the desired hotness of your chili with the beans as well as adding some crushed red pepper flakes.
I use the crockpot.





Cheesy Chicken with broccoli:





2 cans broccoli cheese soup


1 1/2c. milk


1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast


salt and pepper


Noodles or rice








Add chicken to Crockpot


Combine milk and soup, stir together


pour over chicken


season with salt and pepper


Cook on high 1 hr. then turn to low and cook 5-6 hours.


Cook rice or noodles (any kind you perfer)


Serve chicken and sauce over rice or noodles
