Hi,

I found this very useful page where are listed a lot of Christmas recipes that can be frozen 4 weeks before and the tips to cook them on Christmas day:

Casserole

Mince pies

Desserts and sweets

Pastry

Sausage rolls

Sauces and stuffing

Ice creams

Bread

Charlott, this is the time you would start preparing your christmas tarts and cakes. You should have already bought your sherry or brandy to soak the mixed dry fruits. You should be starting your Christmas toffee's and candies. This is area of expertise I will leave to the experts that I am sure will help you.

Food that your going to serve at the table for your Christmas lunch or supper, I have always maintained, I prepare on the day or I start the day before.

Well okay so call me an old fart.
