This one is a little outside of the normal crockpot scene, but I love it - and it's simple! All you need to do is place several pork chops inside your crockpot and season with Lowry's, salt, pepper or whatever else you prefer. Then, layer them with your favorite BBQ sauce and let them cook all day. Depending on the amount you prepare and the size of your crock, it can take as little as 2 1/2 to as long as 6 hours to prepare. I have a medium sized crockpot, and cook four on high for 3 /12 hours.

When they come out, they are just falling apart and are infiltrated with the BBQ sauce. Then just add some potato salad and corn on the cob, and you're set! What are some good recipes to cook in a crock pot (slow cooker)?
Like the above answers, pork is the answer. Cooks great in slow heat, perfect for micro or stove top reheating of leftovers, and with or without bones, a super value at the grocery store.

2# country style pork ribs

Pepper

Your favorite BBQ sauce (room temperature)

1/4 cup water

4-6 hours leave on high setting

6-8 hours set at medium

Remove juices with turkey baster, add BBQ sauce just to cover, set temp to high if needed, for 30 minutes.

During the sauce heating time, baked potatoes can be nuked, simple salad with a mild dressing could be made, slice a sourdough loaf, mix a little honey with butter to spread, set table, and pour a nice sangria.
