Do you know of any no cook sweet/candy recipes for children to make please?

I'm looking for simple coconut ice, peppermint creams, fudge etc.

May have access to a stove, but otherwise the recipes would need to be no cook.

Any ideas?Do you know of any no cook sweet/candy recipes for children to make please?

Coconut Ice:

340g desiccated coconut

340g icing sugar

400g tin of condensed milk

Optional food colouring

Cooking Directions For Coconut Ice:

1. Place the condensed milk into a bowl and add the icing sugar. Beat well then mix in the desiccated coconut. The mixture will get firm and difficult to stir but persevere until everything is all combined.

2. Divide the mixture into two (add optional food colourings to each) and spread into an 8inch square tin giving two coloured layers and allow to set overnight (time for a wee dram!)

3. Cut into small cubes and spread on a sheet of greaseproof paper to dry slightly.

Flapjacks:

75g of butter or margarine

50 - 75g light brown sugar

1 tablespoon of golden syrup

175g of porridge oats

Flapjack Baking Directions:

1. Put the butter or margarine, sugar and golden syrup into a saucepan and stir over a low heat until the fat and sugar have melted.

2. Add the porridge oats and blend thoroughly.

3. Press into a well greased 18cm square sandwich tin.

4. Bake in the centre of a moderate oven at 180c or 350f or gas mark 4 for 25 minutes or until evenly golden brown.

5. Mark into fingers whilst warm.

6. Allow to become almost cold in the tin before removing.

7. Enjoy!

NO NEED TO COOK, JUST NEEDS A MICROWAVE!

Microwave Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

3/4 cups flour

1/2 cup sugar

1/8 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon cocoa

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

pinch of salt

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1/2 tablespoon vinegar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

about 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

I know microwaving sounds odd, but trust me, it does not hurt the taste!

Mix dry ingredients until thoroughly blended. Add liquids and stir to a light brown mixture.

Pour into greased 1 quart baking dish.

Add chocolate chips and microwave for 1 minute.

Stir in now melted chocolate.

Microwave for one more minute and let sit until cool.

You can frost if you want, but the cake is very rich by itself and it might just taste better plain. (I have not tried frosting yet, though, so tell me if you find something that works).

Serves: 4-6

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Peppermint Creams

1lb icing sugar

4 tablespoons condensed milk

A few drops of oil of peppermint

Sift the icing sugar into mixing bowl and add the condensed milk.

Mix well until smooth and creamy.Add the peppermint oil and work the mixture with hands until the flavouring is evenly distributed.

Roll out 1/4 inch thick on a board dusted with icing sugar and cut into small rounds.Leave in a cool place to set.
The kids will enjoy this and it is easy and yummy! Get a bag of peppermints (red and white or red and green) Crush the peppermint into small pieces. Roll out wax paper and distribute the crushed peppermint across the sheet. Melt chocolate or vanilla bark over medium heat. Pour over the crush peppermint and wait for it to dry. The kids can then break the dried chocolate/peppermint candy into pieces. Great Christmas treat! Enjoy!
Icing sugar- 12 tbsp

1 egg white

1 tsp green food colouring

A few drops of peppermint essence.

A little water to bind the ingredients together

Just mix all the ingredients together in a bowl to form a dough, then roll the dough into a sausage and cut into small pieces. Let it set in a fridge for about half an hour. You can also dip it into melted chocolate
this isn't sweets, it's better for them. believe it or not my kids and all their friends went bonker for a veggie plate with dips, especially if they made it themselves. carrots, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, broccolli, cauliflower, etc. some dill pickles, and olives. then get some sour creme, oniion soup mix, parsley flakes, and bacon bits. let them mix up their own dip. kids loved it, still do.i have grand neices nd nephews now, and they like it. hope i helped.
I dont know the ratios but I remember making these when I was a kid and they tasted great because we made them.

Peanut butter, honey and raisin. drop by spoonful onto wax paper and refrigerate to firm up. I am thinking that some crushed graham crackers wouldnt be a bad addition, that way you could get some of the stickiness out off the texture.
Try this.

No bake Christmas Cake.

Simply mix one can of condensed milk, some raisins, glazed cherries and two packs of wafer biscuits together. (Wafer biscuits must be crumbled)

Place in serving dish and cool in refrigerator.

When set it is a lovely fruity cake that kids would love.

If you have access to a stove or microwave.

Melt some chocolate

Then add either rice bubbles or cornflakes.

Put them into cup cake things and put them in the fridge.

When the are hard, enjoy.

It's delicious!

I think I might make some now!
try no-bake cookies, they are a classic.

you can melt the ingredients in a micro if you could get access. :)
