i like to saute them in a pan with olive oil at very high heat to seal in their moisture and give them a slight caramelization on the outside... i cook for a living
i don't exactly know what you are asking...but i can give you a tip about mushrooms- don't rinse them before eating them (unless they are obviously dirty, but when you buy them they are usually cleaned off).
you retain the flavor better that way ;)
