How do you cook eel? Recipes please!!?

I bought a eel and I need some recepies that shows how to cook it. Tasty recipies ONLY Please.How do you cook eel? Recipes please!!?
Eel Recipe


8 pieces of eel - 3 to 4 inches each


2 tbspns lemon juice


2 tbspns vegetable oil


1/2 pint (300ml) red wine


1 large onion - peeled and chopped


2 tbspns fresh parsley


Whole sage leaves


Bacon rashers - enough to wrap the eel


1 egg yolk


2 tbspns cream





Put the eel into a dish and pour over the lemon juice, oil, wine, onion and parsley - leave to marinade for an hour or so.





Remove the eel from the marinade and wrap in sage leaves and then bacon.





Either place these pieces with the join side down into your crockpot or skewer with a cocktail stick or tie with string.





Then pour the marinade over the pieces.





Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours.





Combine the cream and egg yolk and mix into the sauce - allow it to reheat for 15 mins or so.





If you prefer, you could thicken the sauce with cornflour/arrowroot/cornstarch.How do you cook eel? Recipes please!!?
Is it fresh eel or canned eel ? Fresh eel, the best way to do it is beer battered and fry it.


IF it's canned, you can sauted it with butter, garlic, teriyaki sauce, sweet soy sauce, put a bit of rice wine vinegar, and sesame seeds. Eat it w/ japanese sushi rice.
ingredients:


1 pc. eel about 500 grams ................. oil for frying


1 globes g-arlic med. size....................1 cup fish stock


1 onion


1 yellow ginger cut it into bit/mince


1/2 cup blackbeans in can


onion leaks


first clean the eel remove the skin and the intestine then fried,


saute ginger, garlic, onion then put the black beans, put the fish stock then wait till boiled then put the fried eel until it cook and taste it with fish sauce then put the onion leaks. presto serve it with rice and ripe mango
ell is a easy thing to cook:


1. you must skin it like a catfish and remove the intestines


2.put it in buttermilk soak in fridge for a couple of hours


3 cut it into serving portions


4 roll in corn meal and your favorite fish spices


5. deep fry it on medium high heat


6 most important thing to remember is( serve it hot.


7 do not reheat it. ell spoil es when it has been cooked and allowed to cool.


i fix fries and hush puppy's with mine . and be sure to tell your guest or family to watch for bones it is not boneless
AFTER IT'S CLEANED CUT IT IN 3 INCH PIECES. SLICE THEM DOWN THE MIDDLE SO YOU CAN OPEN THEM UP BUT SO THIER STILL ONE PIECE.DIP THEM IN EGG WASH THEN FLOUR THEN EGGWASH THEM ITIALIAN BREAD CRUMBS.FRY THEM IN A PAN WITH SOME BUTTER AND OLIVE OIL 2TO3 MINUTES PERSIDE DEPENDING ON THICKNESS.LEMON JUICE IS OPTIONAL. I like mine with fresh mushrooms %26amp; onions fried in butter.P.S. this is why I take cholesterol reducing medication.
simple recipe from Borneo: put your cleaned and evicerated eel in a stock pot, add onions, garlic, ginger and lemon grass, cover with water and bring to boil, simmer for 15 mins. Add salt, pepper and rice wine (or white wine) to taste, serve.





European eel I like it smoked, with horseraddish...
