Why can't I cook Tandoori recipes in a conventional oven, is there a difference?

The heat in a tandoori oven gets super hot, where your usual oven doesn't get to those temps!Why can't I cook Tandoori recipes in a conventional oven, is there a difference?

yep. A tandoori oven is different. type it ointo your search engine to find out.
It will not be in the true tandoori style, but the marinade should at least make it taste like it. The Tandoori oven is like 700 degrees.
